Heather Smith is a self-taught artist who has been composing meticulously detailed pencil drawings from a young age. She combines her love of animals with her natural flair for drawing to portray their majestic beauty and character using fine pencil techniques that depict realistic wildlife and pet portraits. Some of her drawings can take up to 30 hours to create by the time she is satisfied with every line, hair and whisker! This year Heather will be showcasing her art collection at the West End Community Centre in Vancouver’s ‘Art in the City’ exhibition on May 5th, 6th and 7th, 2017. For custom pet portraits, or to view more of Heather’s artwork online, please visit https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/Heathersgallery and click on ‘contact’ to send her a message. We hope you will come down to the Art in the City event to meet Heather and her wildlife collection!
